Biden’s request not to speculate about the motives of Trump’s assailant

The President of the United States asked the people of his country not to speculate about the motive of the shooting of Trump and his assassination.

U.S. President Joe Biden, after receiving a brief report on the status of the investigation into the assassination attempt on the life of his Republican opponent, Donald Trump, published a statement in which he asked the American people, until the completion of the investigation, regarding the motives of the alleged assailant. According to Al Jazeera, Biden said that the investigation in this regard has started and is still in the early stages. According to him, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) still has no information about the attacker’s motives.

The President of the United States went on to say that the level of Trump’s security has increased and the Secret Service has implemented all the necessary capabilities and protective measures to ensure Trump’s security.

Joe Biden called for unity in the country and mentioned that he had spoken with Donald Trump. Biden says he had a “short but good” conversation with his rival and will pray for Trump and his family with his wife, Jill Biden. At the end, he mentioned the person killed in this shooting incident and offered his condolences to his family. 

In his previous speech, the President of the United States, in response to the unsuccessful assassination of Trump, said: “Political violence has no place in America and is unprecedented, and everyone should condemn it.” 

Biden was supposed to go to the state of Texas on Monday, but after the said incident, he decided to postpone his election event.
