EU sanctions against Iran were extended
In a hostile and unilateral act, the Council of the European Union extended its sanctions against Iran under false pretenses.
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, the Council of the European Union, in a unilateralist, hostile and anti-Iranian action, today imposed its sanctions against Iran under false pretenses. Iran’s military support for Russia’s war against Ukraine and armed groups and institutions in the Middle East and the Red Sea region has been extended until July 27, 2025.
Currently, the sanctions regime is applied to 12 Iranian individuals and 9 entities. Targeted people are subject to the freezing of assets.
Furthermore, the travel ban to the European Union applies to the mentioned natural persons.
