Rafah Mayor: More than 50,000 Palestinians are surrounded in the city without any services

Ahmad al-Suffi, the mayor of Rafah, said on Monday: Due to the continuous cruel attacks of the enemy on Rafah, more than 50,000 Palestinians live in different neighborhoods of this city without any basic services or Living facilities are under siege and the municipal forces and emergency committees are unable to provide any services to these wandering residents in the neighborhoods, and this situation aggravates the existing dangers for them.

The mayor of Rafah further said: The rescue and civil defense forces do not have access to most areas of Rafah and cannot respond to the requests for relief and transport of the wounded and the bodies of the martyrs.

He added: The occupying forces deliberately isolate Rafah from the outside world in order to hide the amount of crimes and tragedies committed against the people of this city.

Al-Sufi further said: The available authentic images of Rafah city, in which the bodies of martyrs are seen in the streets, are only a point in the sea of ​​genocidal crimes committed by mercenaries of the occupying regime in Rafah.

This Palestinian official further called on international community institutions and legal institutions to intervene in order to curb the crimes of the Zionist regime and save the lives of tens of thousands of wandering Palestinians in the neighborhoods of Rafah city.

On Saturday afternoon, the Zionist army committed a massacre in al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis city, as a result of which dozens of Palestinians were martyred and many were injured.

The final statistics announced on Saturday evening by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip indicated that 90 Palestinians were martyred and 300 others were injured in this crime.

The Zionist regime by ignoring the 2 resolutions of the Security Council to stop this war and the instructions issued by the International Court of Justice about the need to stop the attack on the city of Rafah and the need to take measures to prevent genocide and try to improve the dire human conditions in the Strip. Gaza continues its attacks against this region.
