The arrest of a Lebanese citizen in Germany due to his connection with Hezbollah
The German prosecutor announced today (Monday) the arrest of a Lebanese man in this country on charges of procuring drone parts to be sent to the Hezbollah movement. He is accused of having prepared these parts for Hezbollah’s use against Israel.
According to Al Jazeera, in the statement published by the German prosecutor’s office, the name of this person Fadelz was introduced. This Lebanese citizen was arrested in northern Germany on Sunday and handed over to the judicial authorities.
The European Union included the military wing of Hezbollah in its list of terrorist organizations in the summer of 2016, and this Lebanese man is now accused of supporting terrorism.
German authorities say that this Lebanese man has procured drone parts for use by Lebanon’s Hezbollah this year.
