Trump announced his deputy

Donald Trump, the former president of the United States, on Monday nominated Republican Senator JD Vance from Ohio as his running mate in the 2024 election.

Trump wrote on his social network: “After much deliberation and consideration, and considering many other extraordinary talents, I have come to the conclusion that the best person for the position of Vice President of the United States (!) is Senator JD Vance of the state Ohio is great. JD has had a very successful business career in technology and finance, and now, during the campaign, he will focus heavily on people he believes are brilliant, American workers and farmers in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Minnesota, and far beyond…”

The election was announced after other candidates for the position, Florida Senator Marco Rubio and North Dakota Governor Doug Bogrum, withdrew from the race.
