How to deploy the agent of assassination to Trump

According to Reuters, at 17:45 local time, the officer took a photo of Thomas Matthew Crooks, the perpetrator of the assassination attempt on Trump, and at 18:11, the first shot was fired.

CBS News writes that three snipers were inside the building where Crooks was stationed and fired from the roof — the attacker positioned himself directly above them. He is said to have returned to the roof three times: the first time for inspection, the second time with the rangefinder and the third time with the backpack. He probably passed through the air conditioning vents.

The head of the US Secret Service, Kimberly Chittle, told ABC that local police officers were in the building from where the fire was opened and that the agents were protecting the “internal environment” at the time.

The snipers, who are part of the Butler County Emergency Services Unit, were stationed on the second floor to monitor security during the speech. 

According to this report, one of the snipers of the attacker was seen approaching and then climbing the roof. Authorities were alerted, but the suspect managed to gain access to the roof before intervening, and the perpetrator managed to kill one person and injure at least one other attendee before being fatally shot by a Secret Service sniper. He also targeted the former head of state while he was speaking on stage.

Chitel added that he had no intention of resigning and tried to justify that the location Crooks was in was not under the Secret Service’s jurisdiction.

Politico writes: American law enforcement officials are now worried that many people will be threatened in connection with the election. There could be new retaliatory attacks against them, including a repeated attempt against Trump. In a document released by the security services, it is mentioned that the extremists have planned attacks against political or ideological opponents.
