Saudi Arabia: Annual inflation decreased to 1.5% in June

Data from Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Statistics showed on Tuesday that the consumer price index fell to 1.5 percent year-on-year in June, compared to 2.7 percent in June 2023.

Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Statistics emphasized that this price reduction is while the annual inflation in this country was 1.6% last May.

This authority considered the reason for the current inflation rate in Saudi Arabia to be an 8.4% increase in the price of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels and a 1.1% increase in the price of food and beverages.
