CIA analyst: The opening of the NATO office in the Middle East means a new conflict

The former CIA analyst warned about the consequences of opening a NATO office in the Middle East.

Larry Johnson, a former CIA analyst, said: The North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) has opened a new office in the West Asia because it is interested in starting a new armed conflict.

Johnson, speaking on the Geopolitical Trends YouTube channel, said: “The NATO coalition has failed in its mission in Ukraine.” For this reason, NATO is looking for new enemies.

Testing new weapons and selling old weapons is one of NATO’s most important policies in war-making. On the other hand, NATO’s existence only makes sense with war-mongering.

He emphasized that NATO needs to start a war to justify its existence, and opening an office in the West Asia will help these goals.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization is trying to put pressure on countries that inhibit their development.

Foreign Affairs magazine also mentioned this issue recently in an article and wrote: Russia’s war in Ukraine was the main topic of the NATO meeting in Washington, where the allies of this military alliance made plans to intensify aid to Kiev and create a path of “no return.” They presented for Ukraine towards the final membership in this defense pact. In this meeting, tensions over the Western strategy to support Ukraine were also evident; Military aid has played a decisive role in helping Kiev defend itself against Russian forces, but in reality, it has not been enough to enable it to win the war.
