Deputy Trump: Putin does not threaten the West

Vice President Trump's support for Russia and the desire to end the war in Ukraine have worried European and Western officials.

Reuters wrote in an article: J.D. Vance, Donald Trump’s vice president in the American elections, has always taken a supportive position for Russian President Vladimir Putin in his statements.

Europeans are worried that Donald Trump will not adhere to Europe’s radical stance towards Russian President Vladimir Putin by choosing J.D. Vance as the vice president of the United States.

This publication noted: At the Munich conference, Vance said that Putin is not an existential threat to Europe and the West.

Vance also emphasized that Europe and the United States cannot provide Ukraine with the necessary ammunition to defeat Russia. At the end of the article, it is stated that all this creates serious concerns in Europe.

Niels Schmid, a representative of Olaf Schultz’s Social Democratic Party, said in an interview with this news agency: “He takes an even tougher stance on Ukraine than Trump and wants to stop military support for Ukraine.

On Tuesday, the convention of the Republican Party announced Donald Trump as the candidate for the presidency of the United States. He has also invited Sen. Vance of Ohio to run for vice president if he wins the November election. A little later, the Republican Party of Congress nominated Vance for this post.

Trump has repeatedly said that if he is re-elected, he can resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine in just 24 hours. Earlier, Reuters reported that Trump advisers Keith Kellogg and Fred Flitz presented him with a plan to complete military operations in Ukraine, which would be implemented if he wins the presidential election. They also indicated that the United States should increase aid to Ukraine if Russia refuses to negotiate. According to the advisers, the Russian Federation “could be persuaded to come to the negotiating table and promise to delay Ukraine’s accession to NATO for a long time.”

However, Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said that Kyiv cannot agree to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict resolution plan proposed by former US President Donald Trump’s advisers.

Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman of the Russian presidency, said: The plan proposed by Trump’s advisors should take into account the situation on the battlefield. Russian President Vladimir Putin recently presented a peace initiative that neither the West nor Ukraine accepted.
