According to Al-Quds al-Arabi report, the occupation army of the Zionist regime freed 16 Palestinians, including a young man and an elderly woman, from the gate of the Kisfim military base in the east of the city of Deir al-Balah in the center of the Gaza Strip.

Local sources said in this regard that 13 of the released prisoners were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah due to their poor physical condition.

According to the testimony of the released persons, the detainees were subjected to continuous beatings, torture, insults and interrogations during their detention and were transferred between the prisons of the Zionist regime. The doctors who examined them also observed and confirmed the marks of torture on their bodies.

This is not the first time that the occupying army has released the Palestinians it captured from Gaza since the beginning of its land invasion of the Gaza Strip. Over the past months, the occupying army released dozens of prisoners in separate batches, most of whom suffered from deteriorating medical conditions.
