The US defense minister’s admission of the ineffectiveness of the temporary Gaza pier

The Secretary of Defense of the United States has announced that the temporary dock in Gaza will soon be out of service.

According to the Pentagon, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin told Israeli War Minister Yoav Gallant that the temporary dock in Gaza will soon be out of order.

According to al-Quds al-Arabi report, Austin emphasized the importance of supporting the sending of aid to the Ashdod port for distribution in Gaza in a call to the Minister of War of the Zionist regime.

Austin also stressed the importance of increasing the flow of humanitarian aid through all land routes. The US Department of Defense announced that Austin and Gallant expressed hope for the permanent defeat of Hamas and the release of all prisoners.

It was previously revealed that the US does not use the temporary Gaza pier not only to send humanitarian aid, but also helps the Zionists in attacks against the people of Gaza through this pier.

In spite of this, since this pier was installed in the middle of May on the coast of Gaza, it could not provide any significant help in the process of providing aid to the hungry Palestinians.

Washington built this costly and useless jetty because of its inability to pressure Tel Aviv to reopen the land borders to Gaza, but in the end, this jetty could not even handle a day’s worth of incoming aid from the pre-war Rafah crossing. Distribute relief aid among the Palestinians.
