Trump accused the Democrats of attacking the US Supreme Court ruling

Donald Trump, the former president of the United States, accused the Democrats of attacking the Supreme Court ruling and trying to interfere in the presidential election.

He called the Democrats’ move “unauthorized and illegal” and claimed that the party had changed course from its own witch hunt to targeting him and the Supreme Court to destroy the system.

The statement follows reports that President Joe Biden is considering constitutional reform for the Supreme Court, with proposed changes including amending the Constitution to remove presidential immunity. This action was taken in response to the court’s decision to maintain immunity for some of Trump’s actions.

The Supreme Court of the United States announced in a ruling last month that the former presidents of this country are immune from prosecution for some actions taken during their time in office. The US Supreme Court declared with 6 votes against 3 votes that while former presidents can take actions within the framework of their legal authority and enjoy immunity, they do not enjoy immunity for private actions.

After the US Supreme Court ruling, Trump considered it a great victory for democracy. 

Trump is accused of making false claims about fraud in the 2020 American election, deceiving the United States of America, violating civil rights, and pressuring officials to change the election results.
