US-Philippine naval exercise

The United States and the Philippines held a joint naval exercise in the South China Sea.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, citing Sputnik, the US 7th Fleet announced on Wednesday that the country and the Philippines held a joint exercise in the South China Sea.

A statement from the US 7th Fleet said: The US Coast Guard and the Philippine Coast Guard joined forces to conduct joint operations in the South China Sea on July 16.

According to this statement, this exercise included search and rescue training operations, personnel transfer and bilateral sailing.

According to a US Navy 7th Fleet official, the aim is to create a free zone in the Indo-Pacific.

According to the statement of the US Navy’s 7th Fleet, this country will continue to hold joint military exercises with its allies in this region.
