This Omani center announced in a message on social networks that the crew of this tanker includes 13 Indian and three Sri Lankan citizens.

Also, according to a Reuters report, citing the Maritime Security Center of Oman, the oil tanker that sank off the coast of this country is still in the sea, and it is not known whether oil or products whether its oil has leaked into the sea or not.

The data of shipping companies also show that this oil tanker was on its way to Yemen’s Aden port and sank in the large industrial port of Doqm, Oman.

Oman state news agency reported late on Monday that Omani authorities have started search and rescue operations at the scene of the accident in coordination with maritime authorities.
