An explosion in an ammunition depot in the capital of Iraq

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency According to the Baghdad Al-Youm news site, a security source hours before the explosion occurred in an ammunition depot located in the south of the capital Baghdad Iraq reported.

This source stated that the explosion occurred in an ammunition source in Awiraj area in the south of Baghdad.

According to this report, the sound of successive explosions is still heard due to the presence of explosives in the warehouse. At the same time, the source emphasized that the causes of this explosion are not known, and it is not known whether the non-compliance with the regulations of the ammunition warehouse caused this incident or whether the warehouse was attacked.

He stated that due to repeated explosions, it is not possible to approach the accident site.

On the other hand, Hashd Shaabi forces announced that the explosion occurred in the ammunition and logistics warehouse of the 42nd Brigade of Salahuddin Operation Command and there were no casualties.
