26 Ukrainian drones were shot down in Rostov, Russia

Local Russian authorities announced that the country's air defense systems intercepted and shot down dozens of Ukrainian attacking drones in the Rostov region.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Sputnik, “Vasily Globev”, the governor of the Rostov region, announced this Saturday that the air defense systems of the Russian armed forces intercepted and shot down 26 Ukrainian attacking drones in this region last night. .

According to the governor of Rostov, this incident caused no damage and no one was injured or killed.

Ukraine army drone and missile attacks against Russian border cities have intensified in recent weeks.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia issued a statement on Friday and announced that last night the country’s air defense shot down 33 Ukrainian drones over Crimea.

The said statement further added: Also, 2 drones were destroyed and intercepted over Bryansk province, and 10 Ukrainian unmanned boats were also destroyed in the Black Sea.

This is while the Ministry of Defense of Russia presented a report on the progress of the country’s forces in the battle with Ukraine on Thursday.

The Zapad combat group targeted an armored personnel carrier and 3 ammunition depots of the Ukrainian army in its operational area. The Ukrainian army lost up to 650 soldiers in this area. In the operational zone of the “Yug” battle group, the Ukrainian army lost 610 of its soldiers.
