Blinken: Tehran has not produced nuclear weapons

reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by “USA Today”, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken ignored the reports of the “International Atomic Energy Agency” (IAEA) regarding the peaceful nature of Tehran’s nuclear activities. In his words, he said that Iran may be “one or two weeks” away from the ability to produce materials necessary for nuclear weapons.

The US Secretary of State addressed the participants without referring to his country’s unilateral withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear deal in 2018 in violation of UN Security Council Resolution 2231. “Where we are now is not a good position,” he said at the Aspen Security Summit in Colorado

Blinken said that Iran has continued to develop its nuclear program; But it has not yet produced a weapon, and this shows that Tehran is in the closest position to achieve this capability.

He went on to claim that the United States will continue to try to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, preferably through diplomatic negotiations.

This American official claimed: If Iran is serious about interaction, it should actually back off from what it has done in its program! The American government has exerted maximum pressure on Iran all over the world.
