The crew of the Russian fighters announced that the air targets were two B-52N strategic bombers belonging to the US Air Force.
The Ministry of Defense of Russia also added that after the fighters of this country approached the mentioned targets, the American bombers changed their route and moved away from the air border of the Russian Federation.
Moscow has emphasized that the flight of the fighters was carried out in full accordance with international laws in the area of using airspace over neutral waters.
