Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense has announced that this year’s exercise will test the island’s ability to protect critical infrastructure located in the center of Taiwan, which will subsequently help improve and strengthen the resistance of the island’s important facilities. did.

Taiwanese army today started the first day of the exercise by simulating the defense of the Grand Taipei Port. Earlier in Tai’an, outside Taipei, where Taiwan’s main international airport is located, reservists obeyed wartime orders and civilian vehicles were used to meet needs. Also, night exercises and maneuvers will be intensified in order to test the operations under conditions where the command lines are cut.

This exercise has started while China has been holding regular exercises around this island for the last four years with the aim of putting pressure on Taiwan to join Beijing.
