Armed attack on the border of South Sudan and Ethiopia/ 5 students were killed
At least five students were killed in an attack by gunmen in an area near the border of South Sudan and Ethiopia.
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, according to Tamazuj radio station, at least five students were killed and four others were injured after armed men attacked an area near the border of South Sudan and Ethiopia.
Pok Niang Tujik, the regional commissioner of Akobo County in South Sudan, said that this group of students were traveling to the province of “Jungle” when they were attacked.
According to him, the identity of the armed people has not yet been determined because the attack took place in Ethiopia’s security zone. Also, other members of the student convoy are missing.
