India has successfully tested its missile defense system

India's Ministry of Defense announced that India's Defense Research and Development Organization has successfully tested the second phase of its anti-ballistic missile defense system.

quoted by the NDTV news channel, the statement of the Ministry of Defense of India states: This test, which was carried out on the coast of Odisha, demonstrated India’s indigenous ability to defend against ballistic missiles. It showed a class of five thousand kilometers.

The statement adds: The AD interception system fully met all the objectives of this test.

According to the statement, the AD interception system is a two-stage ground-launched missile defense system designed to neutralize many types of ballistic missile threats.

According to the NDTV news channel, Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also announced in a statement that the successful test of the second phase of the AD interception system has once again demonstrated the country’s ballistic missile defense capability.
