The UAE called the Yemeni agreement a “positive step”.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE called the agreement between the National Salvation Government of Yemen and the proxy government of Riyadh based in Aden a "positive step".

The UAE News Agency (WAM) announced that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country published a statement about the reaction of the UN Special Representative for Yemeni Affairs Hans Grundberg’s office regarding the agreement between the government National Salvation of Yemen and the puppet government of Riyadh in Aden welcomed the measures related to the reduction of tensions in banking affairs and Yemeni airlines.

In this statement, it is stated that this agreement is a positive step towards a political solution in Yemen and fulfilling the wishes of the brotherly nation of this country to establish security, development and stability in their country.

The UAE also praised the efforts of the United Nations and its special envoy to achieve a comprehensive and sustainable solution to the Yemen crisis and consolidate peace and stability in this country and the region.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs also emphasized on supporting all regional and international efforts to establish stability in Yemen and stand by the nation of this country.

This statement was issued after the Office of the United Nations Special Representative for Yemen announced an agreement between the National Salvation Government of Yemen and the proxy government of Riyadh based in Aden regarding the adoption of some measures related to the banking system and airlines. .

According to the agreement, three weekly flights will be established between Sana’a and Jordan. Also, the parties have reached an agreement on the start of air travel from Sana’a to India and Cairo.

On the other hand, the two sides have canceled some previous measures and decisions regarding Yemeni banks.

A coalition of several Arab countries, with the help and green light of the United States and the support of the Zionist regime, launched extensive attacks against Yemen as the poorest Arab country in 2014.

After eight years of aggression against Yemen, killing thousands of people and destroying the country’s infrastructure, these countries not only did not achieve their goals, but they were forced to reduce their aggression following the Yemeni armed forces’ missile and drone strikes deep into their territory.
