Russian military helicopter crashed in Kaluga region.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that a Mi-28 military helicopter of this country crashed today (Thursday) in the Kaluga region in the southwest of Moscow.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia announced the crash of a military helicopter in the Kaluga region and clarified that the cause of this accident is most likely a technical fault.

Reuters news agency noted that the ministry’s statement did not mention the number of helicopters on board, but the Mi-28 normally has two crew members.

Vladislav Shapsha, the governor of Kaluga region, announcing this news on his Telegram channel, added that an operational group and rescuers are working at the place where the helicopter crashed.

More details of this incident have not been released yet and investigations are ongoing.
