Release of 6 Palestinian prisoners after torture

Eyewitnesses announced that 6 Palestinian prisoners, whose condition had worsened due to torture, were released from the prisons of the Zionist regime.

Today, the Zionist regime released 6 Palestinian prisoners, including two women, after they were captured from the Gaza Strip during ground military attacks.

According to al-Quds al-Arabi report, eyewitnesses said in this regard: The occupying army of Israel released 6 Palestinian prisoners, including two women, from the gate of the Kisofim military base in the east of Deir al-Balah city (the center of the Gaza Strip) and transferred them to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. Its health is in danger and the effects of torture can be clearly seen.

They explained that the released prisoners could barely walk due to extreme fatigue and pain from repeated torture, malnutrition and lack of sleep. On the other hand, based on the testimony of those who were released, they were beaten, tortured, insulted and interrogated continuously during the entire period of detention and were transferred between prisons of the Zionist regime.

During the past months, the occupying army released dozens of Palestinian prisoners, most of whom were in critical condition. Since the beginning of its ground offensive in Gaza on October 27, the occupation army has arrested thousands of Palestinians, including women, children, and health and civil defense workers, and later released a few, while the fate of others is unknown.

Human rights organizations and the media revealed that Palestinian prisoners from Gaza were subjected to torture and medical neglect, which led to the death of many of them in the detention centers of the Zionist regime.

With the full support of America, the Zionist regime’s war against Gaza resulted in more than 129,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of whom were children and women, and there are more than 10,000 missing among the destruction.

Tel Aviv continues to wage war and ignore UN Security Council resolutions to immediately stop it and International Court of Justice orders to end the invasion of Rafah (South), and to take measures to prevent genocide and improve the dire humanitarian situation.
