The management of Yemeni airlines announced that according to the recent agreement between the government of Sana’a and Saudi Arabia, flights from Sana’a airport to Jordan will resume from today (Thursday).

According to Al-Masira report, the resumption of flights through Sana’a airport to Jordan will resume from this Thursday with three daily flights.

The management of Yemeni Airlines emphasized that efforts are being made to activate flights to Egypt and India from Sana’a airport and will be informed after the completion of technical preparations.

Management of Yemen Airlines also praised the efforts of the leadership of this country and the political delegation to reopen Sana’a International Airport to important destinations, which plays a significant role in reducing the suffering of the Yemeni people.

Earlier, the Yemeni media announced the agreement between the National Salvation Government and Saudi Arabia to resolve some humanitarian and economic issues between the two countries, which remained unimplemented and undecided after the war imposed by Riyadh against Sana’a.

In this regard, Jalal Al-Ravishan, the deputy head of the Sana’a negotiating team, stated: the implementation of the announced agreement depends on Riyadh’s commitment to this agreement, and the talks about this agreement are currently only media talk.

The deputy head of the negotiating team in Sana’a noted: All the actions and movements that were carried out with the aim of dissuading Yemen from its positions in support of the Palestinian people and the operations against the Zionist enemy have failed, and Saudi Arabia has realized that none of The pressures applied to Yemen do not affect the people of this country.

He further emphasized: We continue to adhere to our religious, national, moral and humanitarian position in supporting the Gaza Strip.

On the other hand, Mohammad Miftah, the adviser to the head of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, also said regarding the recent agreement with Saudi Arabia: the firm commitment of the Yemeni leadership to its positions and the position of the Yemeni people has forced Riyadh to search for a way out of the dilemma and It is a crisis that he involved himself in with hostile actions against Yemen.

He continued: We hope that Saudi Arabia is serious in implementing this agreement and has learned from past experiences.

According to the agreement, three weekly flights will be established between Sana’a and Jordan. Also, the parties have reached an agreement on the start of air travel from Sana’a to India and Cairo.

On the other hand, the two sides have canceled some previous measures and decisions regarding Yemeni banks.

This agreement also includes holding meetings to review all economic and humanitarian issues based on a special road map.
