Politico: Biden plans to force Netanyahu to agree with Hamas

The Politico website has reported, quoting informed sources, that "Joe Biden" plans to pressure Netanyahu to reach an agreement with Hamas in today's meeting.

The analytical website “Politico” reported, quoting informed sources, that the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, intends to pressurize him during his meeting today (Thursday) with the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, Benjamin Netanyahu. brought to reach an agreement with Hamas.

Netanyahu has traveled to Washington while his speech in Congress yesterday (Wednesday) was accompanied by massive protests by anti-war activists who gathered in front of his speech. Today, he is going to meet separately with Biden and Kamala Harris, the vice president of the United States, and tomorrow with Donald Trump, the Republican candidate for the 2024 presidential election.

One of the sources close to the Biden administration told Politico that “Biden, freed from the shackles of competing for the US presidential election, intends to adopt a more aggressive tone in negotiations with Netanyahu in order to reach an agreement with Hamas”.

According to this report, Biden also needs to finalize the ceasefire agreement between the Zionist regime and Hamas in order to leave a political legacy, and the sources of this analytical website say that this agreement is “in its final stages”. , but there are serious obstacles in its conclusion.

As informed sources have stated, Biden apparently needs something beyond the ceasefire agreement and plans to discuss with Netanyahu about the massive attacks of the Zionist regime army in the Gaza Strip and Israel’s attack on northern Yemen.

In July, the Zionist regime and Hamas started negotiations to reach a cease-fire agreement, but these negotiations ended in a stalemate, and after that, Biden proposed a plan to resolve the issue of the Gaza war. In the past two weeks, several meetings between Israeli delegations and intermediary countries were held in Doha and Cairo, but there was no significant progress.

Politico has reported that the Israeli delegation did not participate in the latest round of ceasefire talks with Hamas. The Zionist regime continues to insist that only military pressure will force Hamas to agree to an acceptable deal and release more Israeli prisoners.

However, Hamas has emphasized that any ceasefire agreement must be accompanied by a permanent cessation of the war in Gaza and the withdrawal of Zionist troops from Gaza.
