A devastating storm has reached China

Accordingly, Typhoon Gami, having passed through the Taiwan Strait, is now affecting the Fujian region in Southeast China. Local authorities are warning about flooding, rising rivers, and even landslides in this area.
Storm Gami has now reached speeds of 227 kilometers per hour, making it one of the strongest storms in the western Pacific.
The Chinese authorities have evacuated more than 240,000 people from high-risk areas of Fujian city with a population of 3 million due to the fear of casualties caused by this storm.
Typhoon Gami is now being compared to Typhoon Duxuri which hit China last year. At that time, this storm caused 30 billion euros of damage in this country.
Local authorities say that this storm will bring heavy rains that can cause serious damage to urban and rural areas.
