“UNRWA” emphasized in a message on X social network that 9 out of 10 people in Gaza with a population of about 2.2 million people have been forcibly displaced.
The international body added that displaced families seek shelter wherever they can, whether in overcrowded schools, ruined buildings, simple tents on the sand, or amid piles of garbage. But none of these places are safe and people have nowhere else to go.
