The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China announced that the deputy speaker of the country's parliament will travel to Tehran to participate in the inauguration ceremony of Iran's president-elect, "Massoud Al-Madijian".

From the news website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Mao Ning said in his weekly news conference with reporters: Peng Chinghua, the Vice Speaker of the Chinese Parliament, was invited by Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Council, to participate in the inauguration ceremony of Dr. Masoud Bizikian, the President-elect, on Tuesday of this week. Jari is currently traveling to Tehran.

Mr. Masoud Mezikian was elected by the people as the ninth president of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the second stage of the 14th presidential election, which was held on July 15. According to the plan, after the implementation ceremony, the inauguration ceremony of the president will be held on August 9.

The President of China, Xi Jinping, in his congratulatory message on Saturday, July 16, emphasized the desire of his country to “cooperate with the new president to develop the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Iran”.
