ASEAN condemned the attacks against civilians in Gaza

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations condemned the attacks of the Zionist regime against civilians in Gaza following the meeting of the foreign ministers of the member countries in Laos.

According to the Straits Times newspaper, ASEAN foreign ministers in a statement on Saturday condemned all attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure in Gaza, while nearly 10 months of regime crimes have passed. Zionism against the Palestinians goes through this line.

In this statement, the ASEAN foreign ministers expressed their concern about the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, which has intensified after the October 7 attacks, and declared: We condemn all attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure that lead to an alarming situation in the number of casualties. We condemn what has become special for women and children.

In this statement, the parties to the conflict are also asked to accept the ceasefire proposal, as emphasized in paragraph 2 of UN Security Council Resolution 2735.

The Gaza Ministry of Health has announced that the number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip since October 7 (15 Mehr 1402) has reached 39,175 people and the number of wounded has reached 90,403 people.

After about 10 months have passed since the beginning of the war in the Gaza Strip, which was launched with the two stated goals of destroying the Hamas movement and returning its prisoners on October 7, 2023 (15 Mehr 1402), during the so-called Al-Aqsa Storm operation, It has not arrived.

The United Nations humanitarian agency announced in a report that more than 180,000 Palestinians were forced to leave the city of Khan Yunis, located in the south of Gaza, due to the bombing.

The Zionist regime has closed the crossings of the Gaza Strip and is bombarding this area in order to retaliate against the “Al-Aqsa Storm” attacks, compensate for its defeat and stop the resistance operations. These crimes caused Tel Aviv officials to be presented to the International Court of Justice on charges of “genocide”.
