Criticism of the former member of the European Parliament on Israel’s participation in the Paris Olympics

Olympic games in Paris have become a source of laughter due to the presence of the representative of Israel. This was stated by Mick Wallace, a former member of the European Parliament from Ireland.

Wallace, who is always one of the critics of Israel’s attack on the people of Gaza, wrote about the presence of Israel’s representative in the Paris Olympic Games on the X social network: “The government (cabinet) of Israel, which respects the least international laws and is currently committing genocide in Gaza He was allowed to participate in this competition.”

The former representative of the European Parliament also criticized the participation of the American Coca-Cola company as a sponsor of this competition. He called this producer of carbonated drinks “the biggest polluter of plastic on the planet”.

It was already known that despite the situation in the Gaza Strip, athletes from Palestine have come to Paris to participate in the 2024 Olympics. They were welcomed at the airport with cheers from local residents.

We remind you that on the first day of the Olympic Games in Paris, protests started against a football match in which the Israeli national team participated. There, the supporters of Palestine poured into the streets.
