An informed source in the Indian Parliament announced on Saturday that the Prime Minister of India may become a mediator to resolve the crisis between Russia and Ukraine. Such a proposal could be presented during Modi’s visit to Ukraine and possibly discussed at that time.

This informed source reminded that India has long-standing friendly relations with Russia and the prime minister of this country has good relations with Vladimir Putin.

According to this informed source, India also has good relations with Ukraine. As a result, both sides of the conflict trust India.

This knowledgeable source noted that India has repeatedly declared its readiness to help resolve the conflict in Ukraine. But this is only possible with the consent of both parties.

Media sources, citing diplomatic sources, announced that Modi’s visit to Ukraine may take place in the third week of August, and most likely on the 23rd of this month.
