China: NATO’s “nuclear sharing” plan should not be implemented in Asia

The spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry considered NATO's "nuclear sharing" plan to be a violation of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency According to Xinhua, “Mao Ning”, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, announced that the country is against the “nuclear sharing” plan.

The spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that China firmly supports the international nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation plan based on the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and calls for the cancellation of the plan. It is “nuclear sharing”.

Mao Ning said that NATO’s nuclear sharing model violates the provisions of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and is basically a form of nuclear proliferation.

Remembering that the NPT prohibits the transfer of nuclear weapons and their control directly or indirectly, the Chinese diplomat said: the deployment of US nuclear weapons on the soil Non-nuclear NATO member countries and allowing their fighters to carry nuclear weapons clearly violates the provisions of this treaty.

Mao stressed that the nuclear sharing plan should not be implemented in the Asia-Pacific region.
