According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Bermana (Malaysia’s official news agency), Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim announced that the country has sent its request to join the BRICS organization to Russia.
In a statement published by the Malaysian Prime Minister’s Office, Anwar Ibrahim, while expressing his desire to join BRICS, said that this issue was the focus of his conversation with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
