United Nations: Hundreds of families in Yemen have been affected by heavy rains
Torrential rains have destroyed the north of Yemen and damaged hundreds of families living in these areas.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees announced that heavy rains in Yemen have damaged 800 families in Imran province in the north of this country.
According to the Palestinian Wafa news agency, this UN agency further announced that it is making arrangements to respond to urgent needs in this region.
In recent days, sudden floods have hit several provinces in the north of Yemen, including Imran and Saada, and caused a lot of damage. The extremely poor infrastructure of Yemen has aggravated the impact of these floods and increased the suffering of people who do not have access to proper basic services.
