Maduro: Peace and stability will prevail in the country + video

After his third consecutive victory in the presidential elections, Nicolás Maduro emphasized to his supporters the rule of peace and stability in Venezuela.

According to Al-Mayadeen TV channel, after announcing his victory in the presidential election, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said: Peace and stability will reign in the country from today on.

He added: We do not interfere in the elections of any country, and now as the president of Venezuela, I emphasize the need to respect the national sovereignty, the constitution and the will of the Venezuelan people. I will defend democracy, laws and the nation, and I thank this nation for its courage despite all the poisonous propaganda.

Maduro said: Fascism has no place in Venezuela. This victory is for peace, stability and equality and is the heritage of the republic.

He said to Hugo Chavez, the late president of Venezuela: O Chavez! This victory belongs to you.

Amoroso, the head of the National Election Council of Venezuela, announced that Nicolás Maduro won the presidential election for the third term with 51 percent of the votes.
Maduro, 61, who has ruled Venezuela since 2013, is committed to maintaining “peace and stability” in the country. The Chavista ruling system is a political movement inspired by socialists that began almost three decades ago with the election of “Hugo Chávez” and continued under the leadership and support of Nicolás Maduro.
