The Zionist newspaper Yediot Aharonot quoted the officials of this regime as saying that the rehabilitation department of the occupying army decided to form teams consisting of psychiatrists and nurses who are able to deal with suicidal tendencies, because the soldiers of this regime strongly tend to commit suicide. have done.

This new program was launched last February and includes more than 13,500 soldiers receiving treatment from Israel’s previous wars in Gaza. Further, this newspaper announced that more than five thousand soldiers entered the list of mental rehabilitation, of which 3% suffer from serious condition and 18% suffer from psychological problems caused by “post-traumatic stress disorder”.

Noah Ruffa, head of the rehabilitation department’s social services unit, said some soldiers whose mental conditions have worsened are now contacting their guardians or family members seeking relief, stressing that the number will increase within two years. will be equal.

 He continued: “When a disabled soldier tells me he is in distress and has decided to isolate himself and is thinking of harming himself, all we do is tell the police. Oftentimes, calling the police makes the situation worse.

Psychiatrists of the occupying army considered this suicide to be caused by psychological problems after the war.
