The emergency landing of the American airline due to the release of toxic gas in the passenger cabin

According to media reports, a United Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing after a "toxic gas release" in the plane's cabin.

According to Anatoly, according to the authorities, flight 2477 of this company took off from Houston’s George Bush Airport on Sunday morning to Boston.

However, the flight had to land in Washington, D.C., so the plane could undergo a thorough and extensive “cleaning,” the New York Post reported Monday.

The toxic gas release situation became so serious that the crew and passengers became ill, forcing the pilots to request an emergency landing.

The report states that the plane landed safely at Washington Dulles Airport and none of the 155 passengers or six crew members required medical attention.

Investigations regarding the cause of the release of this poisonous gas in the passenger cabin are ongoing.

Last March, United Airlines announced that a flight of the company, which was bound for Boston, had to make an emergency landing in Denver after a part of the plane’s wing was damaged and part of it was torn off.

United Airlines said the incident on the Boeing 757-200 was caused by a “fracture problem” in the plane’s wing, but did not provide further details.
