Venezuela recalled its diplomats from 7 Latin American countries
Venezuela’s foreign ministry said in a statement that Caracas has decided to recall all members of its diplomatic missions from the aforementioned countries because of a heinous record of “attacking our sovereignty.” The government also asked all seven countries to withdraw their diplomats from Venezuela.
Venezuela’s Foreign Ministry called the statements of the countries regarding Maduro’s re-election as interference in the country’s internal affairs. The ministry added: “The Venezuelan government reserves the right to take political and legal measures to ensure the protection of the right to self-determination. The Venezuelan government will resist any activities that threaten peaceful coexistence.”
Peru’s foreign minister also asked Venezuelan diplomats to leave the country within 72 hours.

Despite the announcement of Nicolás Maduro’s victory in the Venezuelan presidential election by the country’s election authorities, the opposition considers itself the winner of this competition.
Javier Milli, the president of Argentina, who is known as the Trump of Argentina, stated on the social network “X” (formerly Twitter) that he does not recognize the victory of “Nicolas Maduro” in the presidential elections of Venezuela. Six other countries also adopted such a position.
According to the announcement of the Election Commission of Venezuela, Maduro won the presidential elections of Venezuela after counting 80% of the votes, and won the presidential elections of Venezuela for the third time with 51.2% of the votes.
