Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah’s gratitude to Walid Jumblat after the “Majdal Shams” incident

A Lebanese newspaper wrote that the Secretary General of Lebanon's Hezbollah thanked the Druze leader of this country for his responsible stance regarding the Majdal Shams incident. 

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar reported that Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, sent a message of gratitude to Walid Jumblat, a former member of parliament and the leader of the Lebanese Druze, and told him because of his efforts to prevent He has expressed his gratitude and appreciation for creating sedition and abusing the Majdal Shams incident.

This newspaper adds that in addition to praising Jumblatt’s position regarding the Majdal Shams incident, the message was issued in appreciation of his position regarding the war in Gaza.

According to this report, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s message was conveyed by Haj Hossein Khalil, his political deputy, to Ghazi Al-Arizi, a former Lebanese minister and one of the relatives and members of Jumblat party in Lebanon. In this message, the Secretary General of Hezbollah thanked and appreciated Jumblatt’s nationalism and responsibility at this stage.

Walid Jumblatt, the leader of the Druze in Lebanon yesterday, in response to the killing of a number of Druze citizens in the Majdal Shams incident in Occupied Golan said: Israel’s claim that the resistance fired rockets at Majdal Shams is false. He added: Israel attacks, kills and destroys every moment in Lebanon.

Jumblatt stated: The time has come for Israel to understand that it cannot destroy the spirit of resistance. The former head of the Progressive Socialist Party of Lebanon continued: Majdal Shams is Arab and most of its residents rejected Israeli citizenship.

He said that Hezbollah respects the rules of engagement in its operations and when Israel violates these rules , Hezbollah answers.
