Xi Jinping congratulated Maduro on his victory

After announcing the results of the Venezuelan elections yesterday, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry congratulated the current president of Venezuela on his re-election victory.

Venezuela’s opposition has started riots in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, by refusing to accept the results of the country’s elections.

Venezuela’s Ministry of Defense announced today that dozens of soldiers have been shot and wounded following street riots by supporters of political movements that failed in the elections.
