Recall of 1.8 million Tesla cars in America
Errors in detecting whether the hood is closed or not have caused 1.8 million Tesla vehicles to be recalled to refer to dealers.
According to mehr reporter to According to Reuters, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced that a software bug in detecting the hood of Tesla cars is locked has caused 1.8 million of the company’s vehicles to be recalled to dealers to fix technical violations.
If the hood is not completely closed and the car’s sensors do not recognize this issue correctly, the car hood may open completely while driving and completely obstruct the driver’s vision.
Note that this recall applies to almost all Tesla models produced between 2021 and 2024, and owners of all models S, 3, X, and Y should visit the dealer.
