The axes of consultation between the foreign ministers of Egypt and the United States

reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Al Jazeera, the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a statement on Tuesday announcing the consultation of the foreign minister of this country with his Egyptian counterpart.

According to the announcement of this media, the statement issued by the US Department of State in this regard states: Foreign Minister Anthony Blinken consulted with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Ati. And in this conversation, the parties exchanged views on the ongoing efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza.

According to the statement of the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the release of Zionist prisoners by the Palestinian resistance was one of the other axes of this consultation.

The US State Department claimed in its statement: Blinken, in a call with his Egyptian counterpart, emphasized the importance of reaching a ceasefire agreement in Gaza to strengthen regional stability.
