Emergency meeting of the Security Council regarding the assassination of Martyr “Hanieh”

According to the announcement of this media, the temporary chairmanship of the Security Council announced that he will convene a meeting following the assassination of Martyr Ismail Hanieh.

This is when Amir Saeed Irvani, the ambassador and permanent representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations, wrote in a letter to the Security Council and the Secretary General of the United Nations regarding the crimes of the Zionist regime: in response In the letter dated July 29 2024 from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Israeli regime to the President of the Security Council, he informs that the Islamic Republic of Iran categorically and without any ambiguity all the accusations raised against it in the letter condemns and completely rejects the aforementioned.

The senior diplomat of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the United Nations added: The claims contained in the said letter are misleading and completely baseless. The letter of the foreign minister of the Israeli regime is more of a desperate attempt to divert international attention from the root causes of the current situation and to justify the crimes and sinister activities of this regime in the region by distorting narratives and spreading false information against Iran and Lebanon. Despite these tactics, the occupying regime cannot deny its responsibility for the ongoing crimes and brutal killings against innocent people in Gaza and other nations and must accept responsibility for its actions.
