The world price of gold today, August 15; $2,443 and 92 cents per ounce
The price of gold per ounce increased by 0.03% to $2,443 and 92 cents today.
reported by Mehr News Agency, the price of gold fell to $2,435 in the first trading hours in Asia on Monday. However, the increase in the possibility of lowering the interest rate of the US Federal Reserve as well as the continuation of geopolitical tensions in the Middle East prevented the gold price from falling too much.
Accordingly, the price of gold per ounce increased by 0.03% to $2,443 and 92 cents today. The price of gold futures on the Comex market of New York reached $2,487 and 40 cents with an increase of 0.71%.
Among other precious metals, silver rose 0.98 percent to $28.67 and platinum was down 0.60 percent at $954.20.
