Trump’s controversial claim about the timing of Iran’s attack
Donald Trump, the official candidate of the Republicans in the 2024 US presidential election, claimed that Iran will attack the occupied territories tonight in response to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh.

The Al Jazeera news site reported Monday evening that Trump claimed in an online interview that he had heard that “Iran will attack Israel tonight.”
He further added: “If I were the president now, no one would utter this sentence.”
