Ukraine’s attempt to infiltrate Russia from the Kursk border was foiled
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted Reuters, Alexei Smirnov, the interim governor of the Kursk region, confirmed that the Moscow forces have thwarted Ukraine’s attempt to penetrate the Russian border in this region (Kursk).
According to Smirnov, Russian soldiers and federal border security forces worked together to repulse the Ukrainian attack on Kursk.
In explaining this operation, he added that about a hundred Ukrainian troops were planning to enter Russia through Sodzha region in Kursk.
Smirnov previously said that the bombing of the Kursk region by the Ukrainian army led to the death of five people, including three children.
