According to this statement, Mikhail Bogdanov, the special representative of the Russian president for West Asian and African affairs and the country’s deputy foreign minister, met with Bashar Jafari, the Syrian ambassador in Moscow.
In this conversation, the parties exchanged views on the developments in Syria and related issues in the framework of the escalation of tensions in the West Asian region.
One of the other axes of consultation between Russian and Syrian officials was the issue of rebuilding this country after the war.
Also, the strengthening and consolidation of bilateral relations was discussed in detail in this meeting.
On the other hand, according to the report of Ryanovsti news agency, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov met with Bahraini Ambassador to Russia Ahmed Al-Saati and the two sides discussed the resolution of the crisis in West Asia, including the aggression of the occupying forces of Jerusalem against the oppressed Palestinian people.
