Accordingly, local sources announced: bandits and rebels attacked a village in the state of Benui (Benue) Nigeria, in addition to looting the property of the villagers, at least 30 of them were killed.

These sources emphasize that there is a possibility of an increase in the number of victims. The search continues for more bodies.

Nigerian authorities condemned this attack and demanded an investigation.

The state Benui is located in the central strip of Nigeria; Where the majority of Muslims live in the north and the majority of Christians live in the south.

The weakness of the central government in Nigeria has caused rebel groups, criminal gangs and terrorist cells to destabilize the country.
