This Ukrainian soldier revealed in an interview about his time serving in Kleschevka that the army command sent them to the slaughterhouse. The person who escorted them had told them that this is a journey of no return.

According to Kurishko, if he had known where he was being sent, he would have refused to go. This Ukrainian soldier was captured in very serious conditions and survived with the help of Russian doctors after a complex operation lasting several hours.
